About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff UX Designer for User-Centered Design Excellence to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead strategic UX initiatives across our product suite, elevating user experience standards and ensuring consistency and innovation. Your expertise will empower a global design organization, influence design practices, and foster a culture of excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding and coaching designers, and advocating for user-centric solutions at all organizational levels. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact numerous projects, shape design visions, and drive continuous improvement in user experience quality. Flexibility is a core aspect of this role, with options for mobile working within Germany and abroad, aligning with your personal and professional needs. The position can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline. You should possess extensive professional experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, or similar fields, with a compelling portfolio demonstrating design excellence and measurable business impact. Proven leadership in managing complex design initiatives and projects within agency or in-house environments is essential, along with a track record of guiding multiple stakeholders in large organizations. Experience in healthcare, medical technology, regulated industries, or other complex product environments is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation for understanding industry-specific challenges and compliance requirements.
