Role Overview

Mercury is seeking a Design Manager to lead creative direction for the Business Banking and Investments teams. This role combines high-level leadership with deep visual craft to redefine financial software experiences. You will be responsible for the quality of work, designer development, and the overall impact of the products shipped.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the visual and interaction quality of all shipped experiences
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape an ambitious product direction
• Identify opportunities and drive projects from initial problem to final outcome
• Provide hands-on design support through sketching and prototyping when needed
• Manage project scope and sequencing to ensure timely delivery of excellent work
• Develop designers through direct feedback and clear performance expectations
