Quick Summary

Role Overview

Fieldreason is seeking a freelance designer to create the operator review interface for an AI-driven supply chain system. The role focuses on building a high-efficiency flow that allows users to quickly validate or correct AI-generated resupply proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the operator review flow for approving or rejecting AI proposals
  • Determine which data points to show or hide to optimize speed
  • Visualize AI confidence and reasoning without creating visual noise
  • Collaborate on defining evaluation criteria for high-quality proposals
  • Conduct user testing with remote English-speaking operations staff
  • Ensure the interface is faster and more efficient than traditional spreadsheets

Requirements Snapshot

  • Experience shipping production interfaces for reviewing AI model outputs
  • Background in designing B2B or operations-focused software tools
  • Professional proficiency in English for communicating with international users
  • Ability to work on a freelance and part-time basis
  • Portfolio demonstrating a specific review interface design

Expected Impact

The designer will bridge the gap between AI logic and human operations by creating a mission-critical interface that determines the product's adoption. Success is measured by the operator's ability to review proposals faster than legacy spreadsheet methods while maintaining high accuracy in regulated environments.

Job Description

Job Description

Fieldreason builds AI systems for multi-site operators, deployed inside the client's own environment. Our current build is for an operator of sites that are hard to reach and heavily regulated: agents propose resupply orders, match products across local catalogues and check what can be shipped where. A person confirms every proposal before anything is written to the client's systems.

The whole project depends on one screen: the one where an operator reviews what the AI proposes. If reviewing takes longer than their spreadsheet, nobody will use it.

What you would do

Design the operator review flow: what to show, what to hide, how to approve, correct or reject a proposal in secondsMake the AI's confidence and reasoning readable without making it noisyWork with us on the evaluation criteria behind the screen: what a good proposal is, which errors are acceptableTest with real users (remote, English-speaking operations staff)

Preferred Experience

You have shipped an interface where people review, correct or approve the output of one or several AI models, in productionB2B or operations tools rather than consumer appsComfortable in English with international users
