DTC Meta Static Ad Designer MEDMSAD003DESIGN STATIC ADS THAT CAN TAKE $1M+/MO IN META SPEND — AND KEEP EARNING THE NEXT DOLLAR
Remote | Full-Time | $1,500+ USD/month + Performance Bonuses | UK/Europe preferredJob SnapshotWe're looking for a specialist DTC static-ad designer. Not a general graphic designer. Not a brand designer who occasionally makes ads. Not someone whose portfolio is mostly websites, packaging, catalogues, logos, or organic Instagram content. You design paid Meta ads for e-commerce brands — and you understand that conversion is the point. You'll turn strategist briefs into high-volume, mobile-first static creative that looks native to today's DTC feed, stays perfectly on-brand, and is ready to ship on the first submission.
About the CompanyWe're a performance creative agency focused on one problem:Finding and producing Meta creative that lets DTC/e-commerce brands scale profitably. The agency was built by two brothers after scaling their own Meta spend beyond $1M/month. We've since worked with e-commerce brands across jewelry, automotive accessories, supplements, beauty, wellness, and other categories. We're not a branding shop. We're not trying to win design awards. We care about strong design because strong design helps ads communicate and convert.Ultimately, the market decides whether the creative is good.
The RoleYou'll own static execution inside a performance creative pod.Our strategists determine the angle, positioning, copy, and strategic direction. Your responsibility is to turn that thinking into high-converting static ads at volume. You'll need strong visual hierarchy, excellent mobile-feed legibility, precise brand execution, and familiarity with the formats currently working across DTC.This includes bold headline/product-image ads, emerging image styles, claymation-style creative, Apple Notes-style statics, and whatever starts converting next. You don't just follow trends. You notice them before someone has to send them to you.
Responsibilities1. Produce first drafts that are ready to shipStrategists should spend their time on strategy, not repairing your design files.2. Build performance-focused static creative at volumeTurn briefs into approximately 8 distinct concepts every 1–2 days, with meaningful variations while maintaining quality and clarity.3. Protect brand integrityFollow each client's fonts, colours, guidelines, and brand book precisely.4. Design for conversion, not decorationUse hierarchy, contrast, imagery, typography, and layout to make the message instantly understandable at mobile-feed scale.5. Keep our static creative currentMonitor what leading DTC brands are running and bring new formats and visual approaches into the team without waiting to be asked.
What Success Looks LikeTypical output is approximately 8 concepts every 1–2 days, with briefs often requiring multiple variations per concept. You'll deliver correctly sized Meta assets and maintain clean, navigable Figma files that other designers and strategists can immediately understand.Performance is measured through:% of new statics beating the existing controlCTRCPA / ROAS versus account baselineFirst-submission QA pass rateRework rateOn-time deliveryDelivery against retainer scopeOne metric matters especially internally:How often does your first draft simply ship? The less strategist intervention your work needs, the more leverage you create for the entire pod.

Hiring ProcessApplication → Portfolio Review → Interview / Live Work Walkthrough → Practical Test → OfferWe're screening for specialist performance-design ability.A polished general-design portfolio without DTC Meta experience will not substitute for it.
Who Thrives HereYou'll thrive if you're reliable, observant, and detail-oriented.You care about getting the brief right the first time. You naturally watch what brands are running and save ads because you want to understand why they work. You can follow a brand book exactly without producing boring creative. You understand that "on-brand" and "performance-focused" are not opposites. And you're comfortable having your work judged by what happens after it enters the ad account.Who Will StruggleYou'll struggle if you primarily identify as a general graphic or brand designer. You'll also struggle if you need the strategist to find every reference, explain every layout decision, or catch basic brand inconsistencies. And if your definition of a successful ad ends at "it looks good," this role isn't for you.
