Mission of this roleEquipment is Rentman's most complex, longest-running product area: multi-warehouse inventory, rollovers across rental cycles, sub-rentals, real time pressure, and it's had virtually no UX support.You'll step into a young design system and an evidence culture that doesn't exist yet, build both from scratch, and hold your ground on design quality inside a fast-moving release train alongside an assertive PM.

What you'll doWrite design briefs and design in Figma, building from the design system and flagging gaps to the DS teamShape problem definition and scoping with the PM and tech owner, including running discovery interviewsRun user tests and interviews to validate direction before handoffDesign for both new and power users, making opinionated callsSupport development during build and guard the design intentJoin UX crits and contribute to the team's shared practice

What we are looking for5+ years designing complex B2B or SaaS productsOwned problems end-to-end, not just executed scoped workRun your own discovery and validation, with at least one direction-changing resultExperience designing for both novice and expert usersExpert in Figma and design systems, with strong stakeholder management

Nice to havesDomain adjacency: logistics, planning, inventory, or ERP-like productsProduct analytics / instrumentation experienceExperience in a product-trio model or contributing to a design system
