Role Overview

Snorkel AI is seeking a Staff Brand Designer to lead the evolution of its visual identity and brand system. This senior individual-contributor role involves hands-on design work while managing external agencies and contractors to ensure brand consistency across all platforms. You will report to the CMO and work closely with research and marketing teams to define the visual future of a frontier AI lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of Snorkel visual identity including logo systems and typography
• Create and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines and Figma libraries for the organization
• Manage external design agencies and freelancers by setting creative direction and reviewing work
• Design high-visibility creative for major company announcements and research launches
• Develop a distinctive visual language to make technical research and data legible
• Establish design operating models including intake processes and AI-assisted workflows
