HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Ensure Light Truck (LT) 4x4 product designs are fully considering consumer expectations, regulatory requirements and manufacturing needs (e.g. processing / manufacturability). Global expert on product design and manufacturability for LT4x4 products.
- Overall global expert on product design and manufacturability for LT4x4 products
- Initiate and lead projects to create or update processes & tools (including virtual development) to ensure manufacturability of product designs, including Design For Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines
- Core member of LT Competence Center
- Collect segment requirements globally (long term requirements and trends for competitive performance)
- Initiates benchmarking of relevant competitors in alignment with key stakeholders
- Analysis of competitor solutions for performance and producibility
- Collects feedback from platform, technology, and compound owners and derive segment gaps
- Review team member in LT4x4 development projects globally
- Leads/coordinates activities to develop and validate concepts
- Initiates technology projects to ensure market competitiveness in performance & manufacturability
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 7+ years of professional experience in automotive or tire industry.
- Experience in R&D, product development, and manufacturing for LT4x4 products.
- 18+ months people or project leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- Worked in international teams for 3 years
