Principal Engineer (sewer network design)

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of sewer collection networks, including 3D modeling and clash detection.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, surge analysis, and demand assessment for system optimization.
• Design wet wells, deep chamber manholes, and associated sewer infrastructure.
• Conduct pipeline route/corridor assessments and establish construction design methodologies.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical reports. Knowledge of international codes, standards, and best practices for sewerage systems
• SewerGEMS – Sewer network modeling and design, Civil 3D – Pipeline design and corridor modeling, Infoworks ICM – Advanced sewer and drainage modeling

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 12+ years of proven experience in sewer network design and engineering.
• Strong background in civil and water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Excellent technical expertise with the ability to manage complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
