RR Donnelley is adding a Presentation Designer to their New York City team!
*This is a Hybrid role working 3 days in office, 2 days remote*
The Presentation Designer is responsible for creating templates, backgrounds, and presentations incorporating information graphics, charts, metaphorical graphics, and diagrams for our bulge bracket, global investment banking client. In this role, you will primarily use PowerPoint and secondly Adobe Creative Suite software. Presentations will range from RFPs to Company’s pitches and any internal materials.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create and edit multi-page/multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitchbooks, graphs, charts, presentations, and other print/design projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in area relative to the business or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 4 years of professional presentation or graphic design experience.
Required Skills
Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
Capable of translating complex data in a visually compelling way
Understands the importance of brand and can work within established standards
Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed
Ability to make independent decisions and use problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Deadline management which includes managing wait times and turnaround times (TAT)
Handle technical queries
Required Experiences
High proficiency knowledge of PowerPoint
Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Knowledge of After Effects is a huge plus
Experience with charting in excel
Video editing and/or sound editing skills are a plus
Knowledge of print design a plus
Financial industry experience is a plus
Additional Information
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $23.51-33.85/hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
