Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.
Information about the position
The Content Design team is part of Vinted's Design & Research organisation. Six Content Designers are fully embedded within multidisciplinary domains, working closely with Product Design, Research, Product, and Engineering to deliver high-quality, user-centric product content. While embedded, the team maintains a shared vision and unified standards.
As Content Design Lead, you'll elevate the impact of content design across Vinted by driving quality, building scalable systems, and increasing operational efficiency. You'll shape the direction of the function through standards, tooling, and craft infrastructure that enables a distributed team to do their best work. Depending on the organisation's evolving structure, this may involve direct people leadership, a guild model built on craft authority, or both.
In this position, you’ll
- Set the quality bar for content design across Vinted and create the conditions for consistent, member-centric outcomes.
- Build craft infrastructure: frameworks, guidelines, tooling, and content systems that scale across embedded teams.
- Deepen how content design is embedded in the product development lifecycle across Product, Design, Engineering, and Research.
- Enable the growth of Content Designers through direct leadership, mentorship, or community-building depending on team structure.
- Define and track metrics that demonstrate content design's value to the broader organisation.
- Drive operational efficiency and reduce lead times across the function.
About you
- Proven expert-level experience (typically 8+ years) in shaping user-facing product content, with a strong portfolio of end-to-end content solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a content design function through direct management, craft authority, or guild-style leadership.
- Proven track record establishing or maturing content design practice: standards, processes, and frameworks at scale.
- Systems thinker who sees tooling and process as levers for quality, not overhead.
- Strong ability to influence at all levels across cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Proficient with modern tools used in Content creation and management; experienced with experimentation and A/B testing.
- Clear perspective on where AI adds value to content without compromising craft.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping the role as the function evolves.
