YOUR MISSION
We’re looking for a Junior Motion Designer to join our Product Design team and help bring Glovo’s experience to life through motion.
Your mission will be to design animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that make our app feel more intuitive, responsive, and delightful.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Designers, Engineers, and Visual Designers to explore how motion can guide users, clarify complex interactions, and strengthen our visual identity across the product.
This role is ideal for someone who loves to combine craft and logic — turning design principles into movement that improves how people feel when using our app.
THE JOURNEY
- Support the creation and documentation of motion guidelines across Glovo’s product experiences.
- Work with Product Designers to prototype and test animations that enhance usability and feedback.
- Collaborate with Engineers to ensure animations are technically feasible and accessible.
- Contribute to our Pintxo Design System by helping define reusable motion components.
- Bring a storytelling eye to product moments — from loading states to success feedback.
- Learn from user research, analytics, and accessibility standards to refine your motion work.
- Collaborate in cross-functional squads, growing your understanding of how design decisions shape user experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
You have:
- English: Professional proficiency.
- 1–2 years of experience in motion, interaction, or visual design (internships included).
- Solid knowledge of After Effects and Figma; familiarity with prototyping tools like ProtoPie.
- Good understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through).
- Curiosity about UX and how motion supports clarity, hierarchy, and emotion in interfaces.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual rhythm.
- Enthusiasm for learning, experimenting, and receiving feedback.
- Collaborative mindset — comfortable working with other designers and engineers.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with design systems or component-based design.
- Understanding of accessibility and reduced-motion preferences.
- Basic experience with brand animation or motion for interfaces.
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves exploring how things move and feel.
- Is eager to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary design team.
- Balances curiosity with execution, always aiming for clarity and consistency.
- Brings energy, humility, and collaboration to every project.

- 🏖️ 28 days of annual leave, the freedom to work from home two days a week, and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year!
