Associate Professional Development Designer

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about providing educators with engaging and relevant professional development. 

As an Associate Professional Development Designer, you will support the creation and maintenance of professional development resources for our team of specialists to use with teachers and administrators around the globe. In this role, you will update and refine professional development materials, help develop new resources, and maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills and a strong understanding of education and professional development. 

This is a full-time remote position for candidates within the United States. #LI-REMOTE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Update, edit, and maintain professional development outlines, resources, slide decks, and other training materials
• Create and format professional development slide decks in Google Slides, ensuring consistency with templates and design standards
• Proofread and review materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency
• Incorporate feedback and revisions to improve existing professional development resources
• Help develop new materials and resources as needed
• Organize and maintain professional development content to ensure resources remain current and easy to use
• Collaborate with marketing in the development of PD marketing collateral

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years K-12 teaching experience 
• Experience delivering professional development to K-12 educators 
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
• Proficient with Google Docs and Slides
