We are looking for an intern (f/m/diverse) starting in March to actively support our team in the area of Software Engineering across various topics and projects.
As part of a 6‑month internship (a combination of a mandatory internship and a voluntary internship is also possible), we offer you an attractive opportunity to complement and expand your theoretical knowledge with diverse practical experience.

The following activities will be at the core of your tasks:

  • Designing and implementing new HMI interfaces and visual styles
  • Enhancing the visual appearance of an existing 3D application
  • Optimizing the application for a mobile rendering environment
  • Adding visual effects to procedurally generated meshes (e.g., additional meshes, shaders)
  • Developing a unique visual style for the application

Qualifications

  • Students (f/m/diverse) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with a focus on UI/UX design and visual design
  • Experience in 3D HMI development using tools such as Unreal Engine or Unity
  • Familiarity with Android development environments
  • Background in Media Design or Game Design is an advantage
  • A portfolio of previous HMI design projects, ideally created with Unreal Engine, completes your profile
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and flexibility
