Fashion Designer

Role Overview

This role is for a Lifestyle Product Designer at Hypebeast, a global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle. The designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and managing the production of new fashion items for Hypebeast's private labels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, and execution of assets, typography, logos, and icons.
• Plan and develop seasonal concepts/graphics, analyzing emerging trends and customer preferences.
• Provide design mockups and sketches for global projects and private brands.
• Test and decide on fabric, colors, patterns, and textures for each design.
• Source and manage the production of designs, maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the internal creative team to develop new product ideas based on research data.

Requirements Snapshot

• 3-5 years of experience in the fashion industry as a lifestyle product designer (apparel, headwear, accessories).
• Strong ability in hand-drawing and design applications (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Solid understanding of fashion product development processes for apparel, bags, and accessories.
• Good communication skills for presenting ideas and designs clearly.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work independently and efficiently.
