Job DescriptionAs a Control Systems Designer, you will work on the development of high-performance control and motion solutions for complex mechatronic systems. You will contribute to projects within the semiconductor industry, (autonomous) robotics, positioning stages and laser-based communication modules.You will design (advanced) control algorithms, build dynamics and simulation models, and develop path planning strategies for highly accurate and dynamic systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate innovative concepts into robust, scalable and reproducible solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and optimizing advanced control algorithms for high-precision mechatronic systems.Setting up and validating dynamics and simulation models to predict and improve system behavior.Developing path planning and motion control strategies for complex trajectories and high dynamics.Analyzing system performance and implementing improvements based on simulations and test results.Collaborating with mechanical, electronic and software teams to realize integrated system solutions.
Job RequirementsYou hold a PhD or master's degree in Control Engineering or Mechatronics, supplemented by at least 5 years of relevant work experience.You excel at designing advanced control algorithms, setting up dynamic models and running simulations.You have demonstrable experience in path planning, motion control and system optimization.You feel at home in high-tech fields such as semiconductors, robotics, positioning stages or laser-based communication modules.You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly and know how to translate technical complexity into practical solutions.You have a proactive attitude and draw energy from collaborating with other specialists.
