Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP Interface Designer to support the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions within a complex SAP environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing integration requirements, aligning them with established architecture patterns, defining interface strategies and translating these into clear technical specifications for delivery teams.This is a senior-level role requiring strong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI, middleware technologies and SAP S/4HANA integration, alongside the ability to confidently engage with technical and business stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse incoming interface and integration requirements and align them with appropriate architecture patterns.Define the integration/interface strategy for individual interfaces.Translate interface strategies into detailed technical specifications.Support the creation of functional specifications where required.Work closely with Interface Owners to gather mappings and other information required to complete interface specifications.Coordinate and monitor documentation contributions from technical delivery teams.Ensure interface documentation is complete, accurate and maintained to a high standard.Support interface monitoring, error-handling and monitoring planning.Maintain interface catalogues across tools such as Excel, Azure DevOps and SAP Solution Manager.Present interface design decisions and technical rationale to relevant stakeholders.Work with technical and functional experts to clarify requirements and resolve design questions.Support technical project management activities across the integration landscape.

Essential Technical Skills10+ years' relevant IT/integration experienceStrong experience as an Interface Designer / Integration DesignerStrong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite (BTP IS) / SAP CPIGood understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilitiesUnderstanding of SAP Clean Core principles, including CDSStrong understanding of enterprise middleware and integration conceptsExperience or knowledge of:SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPIMicrosoft BizTalkMicrosoft AzureUC4Experience defining interface architecture, integration patterns and technical specifications.Strong understanding of interface mappings, monitoring and error-handling concepts.Experience working within complex enterprise SAP environments.
