Role Overview

This role is dedicated to cultivating a user-centric environment for Power Tools product teams. The specialist will empower teams to conduct qualitative user surveys and establish efficient systems for user recruiting, insight storage, and AI-supported analysis, without requiring fully comprehensive market research.

Key Responsibilities

Enable product teams to conduct simple, qualitative user surveys independently through training and support.
Set up and manage user pools for efficient participant recruiting.
Establish user knowledge hubs to store and make research insights available across the organization.
Collaborate with the IT Team to develop AI-supported interview and analysis tools.
Categorize product projects to determine specific user research needs.
Execute qualitative user research in coordination with Product Management and Design.

Requirements Snapshot

Bachelor/Master in UX Research, Market Research, Applied Ethnography, or Psychology.
10+ years of professional experience.
Advanced English skills for international stakeholder communication.
Experience in a multinational corporate environment.

Main purpose and context of the role

Create an environment where product teams can work in a user centric way and execute user surveys (without conducting fully comprehensive market research) for PT- Power Tools

Tasks

enable product teams to conduct simple, qualitative user surveys / questionnaires independently (training, support in setting up questionnaires, guidance in interview analysis)
set up user pools for efficient user recruiting
set up user knowledge hubs to store insights and make them available to the organization
collaborate with our IT Team to develop AI supported interview / analysis tools
categorize large number of product projects regarding need for user research
partly execute qualitative user research in coordination with Product Management and Design
coordinate annual market research request process in collaboration with central market research team

Qualifications

Skills / Education

Bachelor/Master in UX Research, Market Research, Applied Ethnography, Psychology, or related fields
10 years+ of professional experience
advanced English skills (communication with international stakeholders a must)
experience in multinational corporate environment
preferably product development expertise (hardware products)
fantastic communication and stakeholder management
