Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings for concrete structures in accordance with BS/Euro codes.
- Utilize software such as Cads RC, AutoCAD, and Microstation proficiently to produce high-quality drawings.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Revit basics, with the ability to create and modify models.
- Collaborate effectively with design engineers to ensure drawings meet design requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure constructability and avoid clashes.
- Produce bar bending schedules, detailing reports, and other related documentation.
- Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with codes and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to use Revit 3D reinforcement add-ons for advanced detailing.
Additional Advantages:
- Experience with Bentley Rebar software.
- Experience with Tekla Structures
- Ability to develop dynamo graphs
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in RC detailing preferably in UK.
- In-depth knowledge of BS/Euro codes for concrete design and detailing.
- Proficiency in Cads RC, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
- Strong understanding of Revit basics and ability to detail reinforcement in 3D.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
