Role Overview

This role focuses on the mechanical design and development of power modules for automotive motor controllers. It involves concept studies, detailed design, simulation, and ensuring compliance with electronic and automotive standards. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical concept studies, requirement analysis, and develop Statements of Requirements (SOR).
• Perform mechanical structure design for power module layout, EMC shielding, and ensure compliance with electronic rules (creeping distance, insulation distance, etc.).
• Source and select catalog parts, such as connectors, for power module integration.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings and manage process-related development activities.
• Conduct mechanical simulations (FEA) and prepare product analysis documents (FAM, DFMA, DFMEA, DRBFM).
• Manage technical reviews and communication with customers and suppliers, and contribute to cost evaluation and reduction initiatives.

Requirements Snapshot

• Master's degree or above in Mechanical Design, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical development of automotive motor controllers for power electronics.
• Solid knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, mechanics, and auto-control.
• Basic understanding of automotive components and control systems.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to work in international teams.
