Architectural Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Architectural Design Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional architectural designs while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

• Develop and produce architectural designs, plans, and drawings using CAD software
• Collaborate with project teams to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing building designs
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for project planning
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, building codes, and sustainability standards
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle
• Incorporate local architectural styles and cultural considerations into designs
• Perform quality control checks on architectural drawings and specifications
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in architectural design or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of sustainable design principles
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian architectural styles and cultural considerations
• Professional licensure (e.g., Architect Registration) preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
