We're looking for a Design Engineer to join our Design team based in Wymondham, Norfolk. In this role you'll contribute to the delivery of complex construction engineering services, supporting project teams with safe, compliant and buildable design solutions, while continuing to develop technical and professional capability. Location : Wymondham, Norfolk Hours : 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us What will you be responsible for? As a Design Engineer, you'll support the delivery of complex temporary works and construction engineering solutions within the Construction Engineering team, ensuring designs are safe and buildable. Your day to day will include: Producing and checking temporary works designs, integrated with permanent works where required Supporting bids and tenders through outline designs, feasibility studies and buildable engineering solutions Contributing to design outputs including calculations, drawings, reports and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHEMS and QMS Identifying technical risks and opportunities for value engineering under appropriate supervision Attending site visits, inspections and meetings, providing technical support to design, site and tender teams What are we looking for?
