Role Overview

This role focuses on designing, validating, and releasing new automotive products and projects for the North America region, specifically within a defined sub-system. It requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, suppliers, and other teams to ensure product quality and customer experience. The position also involves global interaction to optimize vehicle design efficiency against quality, cost, and functional targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and release new automotive products and projects for North America.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products according to quality and customer experience.
• Track regional results by subsystem and control implementation gates and roadblocks.
• Interact globally with regional counterparts to maximize vehicle design efficiency.
• Support 3D and 2D development for new components.
• Support product launching phases with component development and validation.

Requirements Snapshot

• Experience in one or more automotive Closures is required.
• Expertise in Team Center, NX CAD Software, and Vis Mockup is essential.
• Ability to develop and manage corporate preproduction and production CAD data structures.
• Proficiency in positioning, manipulating, and analyzing existing CAD designs.
• Advanced English language skills are necessary.
