WHAT DOES AN ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, COPY DO?

We are seeking a talented and visionary Associate Creative Director, Copy , to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in copywriting and concepting, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for storytelling. As an Associate Creative Director, Copy, you will work closely with your art partner, the Creative Director, and other team members to develop and execute compelling creative while serving as the owner of the brand voice and narrative for both internal and external teams. 

  • The ACD of Copy is an active contributor to and leader of the creative team, taking full responsibility of the work and owning concept and copy development on various projects across the portfolio ranging in complexity and scope.   

  • The ACD of Copy has a proven ability to multitask and delegate as appropriate to ensure seamless management of projects of varying types, while still contributing to idea generation that moves the needles for their brands.   

  • This individual is a direct liaison between senior creative and cross-functional team members, focused on consistently delivering work that answers stratetic, business, and creative expectations while collaborating seamlessly. 

  • Possesses advanced presentation skills and is often called upon to sell work externally and foster strong client relationships.   

  • Responsible for providing career-building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to promote growth and development. 

  • Responsible for particcipating in new business as a conceptor and writer of pitch-winning ideas.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required  

  • At least 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising or a related field   

  • Experience writing for both HCP and DTC audiences; rare disease experience is a plus

  • AOR experience is preferred
