We’re looking for an exceptional Product Designer to join our Spend design team. You’ll be working with the cross-functional team that creates a best in class spending experience for our business account users all over the world.
Over the past decade, Wise has built a global payments infrastructure that has revolutionised how money moves around the world. Since 2018, the Spend squad has built one of the most significant debit card products in the world with millions of cards issued in over 40+ countries in 5 continents with more to be added soon. The squad now consists of 6 Product teams based across Singapore, London and Tallinn. The team is based in Singapore and owns the onboarding of card customers, starting with the ordering flow to how we ensure that the customer becomes an active card user.
As a Staff Product Designer you will lead projects across complex product areas, which enable business customers to spend multiple currencies and manage them within their accounting eco system. You will take ownership of large, ambiguous, projects and be accountable for the design quality of our products and processes on the team.

Your mission:
You’ll be joining a growing team that is expanding the way Business customers can use their Wise Account. Time is money, and small businesses cannot waste theirs. The business expense management team simplifies global expense management for small businesses. You’ll create simple, easy-to-use experiences for a complex financial product that serves over 700,000 businesses, from diverse range of backgrounds, across the globe.

About you:
You have 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, championing customer-first design initiatives
You’ve got a portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work that solves real problems for real people.
You default to prototyping when presenting your work.
You’re a natural collaborator, designing in the open, leveraging other functions’ expertise and taking them on the journey with you.
You understand that good design is often a journey to identify the right thing to build, using early concepts and prototypes to help build conviction along the way.
You have a high-level of design craft, strong visual skills and an interest in brand
You are comfortable designing for mobile surfaces
You’ve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales.
You practise evidence-based design, and can rationalise your decisions clearly and credibly.
