Senior Visual Designer

Zurich/Bern, hybrid

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in Switzerland. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

JOB PURPOSE

In this job, you'll be creating best-in-class experiences, design systems and visual designs. You'll collaborate with talented designers in a client-facing role, work closely with our Design Leads, and balance independent work with team engagement—sharing ideas, feedback, and wins along the way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bringing fresh ideas on best practices and cross-industry insights to the project team;
  • Translating strategy, data insights and UX into stunning interface designs;
  • Making considered but bold decisions when to use the design system and when to create something new;
  • Presenting your work to clients and stakeholders while handling feedback gracefully;
  • Substantiating your design choices with annotations and bring them to life with animations;
  • Owning the final delivery, ensuring the highest quality in both design and implementation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Good experience as visual designer at an agency or renowned brand;
  • Experience with designing websites, apps and digital products;
  • A strong portfolio (website or PDF) demonstrating your experience and passion;
  • Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams;
  • Experience with Figma and Design Systems is a must;
  • Experience in motion design (Jitter) and AI tools is a big plus;
  • Working proficiency in English;
  • Immediately available to start a role in Switzerland.
