We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Design System Team within the Central Team. The Central team focuses on providing one north star experience to all our customers at Wolt. You'll be collaborating closely with research, motion, content design, as well as the  operation team. Also, with product managers and engineers to ensure that our design system supports their needs and aligns with our brand guidelines and design principles.

This will be someone who has mastered the craft of turning insights into beautifully designed products, who can inspire organisations through prototyping and storytelling to ensure their final work has maximum impact for the customer. We hope that you have strong visual design and interaction design skills, and must be an excellent communicator in order to support designers who are using the system and to align and collaborate with them on the evolution of the system.

📍This role can be based in our tech hub in Berlin, Helsinki or Stockholm.

What you’ll be doing

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

• Bring clarity to chaos — Take vague, early-stage ideas and transform them into tangible concepts, prototypes, and product directions.
• Design for both sides of the platform — Contribute to consumer-facing features as well as merchant tools, understanding how each influences the other.
• Create exceptional UI and interaction design — You’ll raise the bar on polish, accessibility, and visual storytelling in every flow and screen.
• Think strategically — Work closely with engineers to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the system and collaborate with designers to help them identify and create design solutions, new elements, and components that adhere to the system.

• You’ve shipped high-quality product design at scale — You have 7+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in both consumer and Saas environments.
  
• You have exceptional visual and interaction craft — You obsess over typography, layout, and UI nuance, and your portfolio shows delightful, high-polish experiences.
• You think in systems, not just screens — You consider edge cases, build flexible design systems, and push for consistency with creativity.
• You’re a creative thinker with strong product intuition — You don’t wait for specs. You explore, frame problems clearly, and propose new angles others might miss.
• You communicate with impact — Whether through Figma, a prototype, or storytelling in a meeting, you help others see the vision and move towards it together.
