Senior Product Designer - Product Analytics

Role Overview

Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Designer to create intuitive analytics experiences for less technical users. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing features and design new, AI-driven capabilities within the Product Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and other designers to understand user interaction with analytics tools.
• Improve and scale the existing Product Analytics experience, including designing new features and workflows.
• Contribute to and work within Datadog's design system, creating components and patterns as needed.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and detailed visual designs with a focus on typography, layout, and information architecture.
• Bring design concepts to life through interaction design and prototyping, validating with user testing and data.
• Collaborate with Design Ops, Dataviz, Marketing, and Product stakeholders to align on strategy.

Requirements Snapshot

• 6+ years of full-time experience in B2B product design, ideally for analytics or data-heavy products.
• Strong visual design skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
• Experience working within and contributing to design systems.
• Proven ability to translate research insights and customer data into product opportunities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
