ABOUT THE ROLE

🚀 Join us as our next Senior Brand Designer (m/f/d) and help build the world’s best corporate credit card experience.

This role is perfect if you’re at the start of your senior design journey and want to take ownership of impactful projects in a high-growth environment. You’ll bring structure and craft to our brand presence — leading design for our marketing website, evolving our design system, and creating high-quality brand assets that scale across all touchpoints, both internally and externally.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, product design, and content teams to shape campaigns, ads, events, and sales collateral — while maintaining and refining our brand guidelines to achieve consistent, compelling, and world-class results.

Pliant has design in their DNA, our brand design team reports directly to one of the founders, and although our team is small, we thrive on finding the best solutions to design problems and have a philosophy that we hire people that have a keen interest in helping us shape our expansion and being part of the team for years to come.

If you thrive in fast-moving environments, are a pro-active designer, love to roll up your sleeves in Figma, and want to see your design work make a direct impact, this role is for you! 

Although we have London listed as the main location, we value flexibility to work remotely or hybrid from one of our hubs (Berlin, London, Vienna, Helsinki). If not based in Berlin, you ideally must be able to join team meetings throughout the year and be within a +/- 3 hour of GMT  timezone.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take the lead on our marketing website design: evolve the UI/UX, build scalable design systems, and ensure a seamless, consistent experience.
  • Work hands-on in Figma, crafting pixel-perfect components and collaborating with content managers and developers for smooth implementation.
  • Own multi-channel brand design — across digital and physical touchpoints (ad creative, ebooks, white-papers, social content, pitch decks, event booths…) and work cross-functionally in collaboration with marketing, content, and design teams.
  • Maintain and refine our brand guidelines to achieve a high-quality, compelling, and strategic output across all brand touchpoints.
  • Be an active contributor in improving collaboration and processes across teams, championing efficiency and creativity.
  • You proactively own projects from concept to delivery, ensuring creative excellence while fostering collaboration and integrating feedback along the way.
  • Embrace variety in your work: you’re excited to take on projects outside your main scope and add value across design areas.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in brand design, visual communication, or digital design (agency or in-house), ~1 year in a senior role.
  • A strong focus on UI/UX for marketing websitesyou live and breathe great web design and know how to work closely cross functionally with content designers and developers
  • Proficiency in Figma and a love for design systems, Adobe Creative Suite familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong visual craft across typography, layout, and digital storytelling.
  • A proactive, highly organized way of working—you thrive with autonomy but love collaborating in a small team.
  • Openness to giving and receiving feedback; you’re eager to grow and help others grow too.
  • Not afraid to make design decisions and clearly explain your rationale.
  • Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, etc.) are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in fintech or B2B is nice-to-have, but curiosity and adaptability matter more.
