AVATR Global Design Center is seeking an Interior Design Manager to join our international team at our Design Studio Shanghai. What you will do:

• Support the Design Studio Director in leading the interior design team, ensuring high-quality creative output across concept and production programs.
• Deliver new, compelling designs solutions and product innovations for advanced and production car projects
• Create fresh, innovative ideas with a stretch and forward thinking.
• Work traditionally and digitally (2D and 3D) for concepts and production programs.
• Project ownership and drive the team for high quality deliverables with timing discipline.
• Interface with cross-functional team during various design development phases.
• Create artistic presentation to senior management.
• Trend research and innovation in interior geometry concepts and ideas. 
• Development of functionalities and user experiences 

 

What you will bring: 

• At least 10 years of automotive interior design experience, including a completed production vehicle design project, with thorough knowledge of the full vehicle production process and strong expertise in interior design engineering.
• 3–5 years of team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong 2D & 3D digital capabilities. Well experienced in both Interior and Interior design & development on concepts and production projects.
• Ability to think three-dimensionally, with a strong emphasis on proportions, sophistication, and a refined sense of graphics and form.
• Proficiency in applying and translating cultural insights to design characteristics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field
