About the Role

We’re looking for a Employer Brand Designer who will bring our employee experience to life through compelling visual storytelling. 

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Employer Branding, Recruiting, and Internal Communications teams to design assets that attract top talent, celebrate our culture, and engage our employees. This is a flexible, part-time contract role ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and is passionate about translating brand values into powerful design. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Shape and standardize visual identity guidelines aligned with our core brand that uniquely highlights Lucid’s employee experience. 
  • Design and produce visual assets to support employer branding campaigns, recruiting initiatives, and internal communications. 
  • Develop content for social media, digital ads, and presentations that align with Lucid’s brand identity and talent messaging. 
  • Create PowerPoint presentations that communicate complex ideas simply and beautifully. 
  • Produce minimal animations or motion graphics for videos, social posts, and internal content. 
  • Ensure all creative work is on-brand, consistent, and optimized for various platforms and audiences. 
  • Collaborate with Employer Branding, Communications, and Brand & Design team stakeholders to brainstorm concepts and deliver high-quality designs on quick turnarounds. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance) with a strong portfolio showcasing social media, presentation, and campaign design. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma. 
  • Experience creating motion graphics or simple animations (e.g., for social or digital campaigns). 
  • Strong design eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. 
  • Ability to adapt designs across channels (social media, digital ads, decks, print, internal comms). 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction. 
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for telling compelling employer and employee experience stories through design. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with employer branding, HR, or recruiting design needs. 
  • Experience designing assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. 
  • Background in corporate or startup environments with an understanding of culture-focused storytelling.
