Role Overview

ALTEN is seeking a Naval Mechanical Engineer to join their defense division. This role involves contributing to studies and R&D projects within the naval sector, working under the guidance of a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze input data for study execution.
• Size systems and structures according to business requirements using analytical methods.
• Create 3D CAD digital models for structural definition.
• Document study justifications and compromises.
• Propose and participate in R&D studies within the domain.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project deadlines.

Requirements Snapshot

• Engineering degree or Master's (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD and PLM solutions, preferably CATIA V6 and 3Dx.
• Knowledge of dimensioning, drafting, and functional tolerancing.
• Experience with welded structures is a plus.
• Strong personal qualities including rigor, curiosity, dynamism, proactivity, and communication skills.
