We are seeking an experienced Sr. Instructional Designer to lead the development of comprehensive training content for complex enterprise systems and emerging technologies.  

This role focuses on creating engaging, effective learning experiences for platforms including SAP, Dassault Systèmes suite (3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, DELMIA), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, and AI-powered applications.  

The ideal candidate combines deep technical systems knowledge with advanced instructional design expertise to transform complex technical concepts into accessible, practical training materials. 

This role is critical in enabling global teams to adopt and optimize enterprise systems, driving operational excellence and innovation across the organization. 

 

You will 

 

  • Design and develop training curricula, courses, and learning materials for enterprise systems, including SAP modules, Dassault Systèmes platforms, MBSE tools, and AI applications. 
  • Create multi-modal learning content, including interactive e-learning modules, simulations, hands-on labs, job aids, and assessment materials. 
  • Develop scenario-based learning experiences that mirror real-world system usage and business processes. 
  • Design learning paths that accommodate different skill levels, roles, and learning preferences. 
  • Create and maintain training content libraries, templates, and reusable learning objects. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex system functionalities, workflows, and integration points. 
  • Analyze business processes and system capabilities to identify optimal training approaches. 
  • Design measurement frameworks to assess training effectiveness and learner performance. 
  • Partner with business units and training teams to align learning objectives with organizational goals. 
  • Lead cross-functional project teams for large-scale training initiatives. 
  • Present training strategies and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders. 

 

You bring 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience with a focus on technical systems training. 
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Dassault Systèmes, Atlassian, or similar platforms). 
  • Understanding of AI applications in business processes and training delivery. 
  • Expertise with LMS platforms, authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, etc.), and emerging learning technologies. 
  • Advanced skills in creating technical content, process documentation, and visual aids. 
  • Mastery of adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and learning assessment strategies. 
  • Experience with change management and organizational development initiatives. 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment where priorities shift quickly, delivering high-quality training solutions under tight deadlines while maintaining excellence standards in our exciting, high-growth organization. 

 

The position will report to the Global Systems Training Manager at the Lucid Phoenix Hub in Phoenix, AZ. 

 

This position requires the ability to work collaboratively across time zones and may involve occasional travel for system implementations or stakeholder meetings.
